Simple Mind recognises 'what is' rather than any other options. A Truth is very simple. An untruth requires lots of justification to make it believable. That is why it's difficult to maintain a false idea. Truth is very easy to live if we have the courage to face it. The untruth gives us easy short cuts from any immediate misery but ultimately we can't escape the truth.
SIMPLE MIND is thus an intelligent proposition.
